Over the past 15 years, techniques such as the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) have become more popularized. We refer to EFT and other tapping forms as Meridian Tapping and we have used such tools in our personal life and frequently with our clients in counseling sessions. Meridian Tapping is often referred to as emotional acupuncture in that the technique accesses the same meridian points that acupuncture does but uses those points for gentle tapping and the release of painful feelings and beliefs about oneself, a painful memory or a current emotional state related to life stress.
Meridian tapping (EFT) techniques have been clinically observed to consistently help with human distress. Our clients regularly report that they find the use of these techniques to be an amazing tool for creating calm, better emotional balance, and the release of sabotaging beliefs and self defeating behavior. They enjoy the fact that they are simple and easy to use at home, accelerating their trans-formative process. We have seen the results in our counseling clients lives and we have experienced their positive effects in our own life.
